Bones and Ally

So it's been bugging me. First of all, you should go see the movie "Mom's night out", fantastic and funny movie. If you've seen it yay for you. There's a scene in the movie where Bones (Trace Adkins) and the main character, Allyson, (can't remember the actor's name) are sitting at a bench in the police station in the middle of the night. It's been a long day: car stolen, baby missing, nobody knows where anyone else is, phones missing, a baby in a tattoo parlor (?), and now these two are sitting on this bench. Bones is this big biker dude, tats all up his arms and neck, and the main character, Allyson, is this crazy hectic mom who is disappointed in herself for not being the wife/mom/friend/whatever she wants to be. She feels like she just messes everything up and is just not enough. So Bones drops one of the biggest nuggets of wisdom I've ever heard in a movie. Here's the quote: "I was raised in church, this might surprise you but I have since drifted from the faith. My momma worked three jobs, never met my daddy, I had to get up early and walk to school but I'd wait up for her coming home from the diner, waited up every night. cause she'd come home, she'd put me to bed, then she'd tell me something, she'd tell me the same thing every night. 'he loves you Charles, no matter who you are, no matter what you do, or how far you run, Jesus will always be lovin you with his arms open wide, just for being you.'" Yup, blew my mind too, I mean how often do we remind ourselves of this fact? How much simpler could life be if we abided in this truth?
He goes on to say this too: y'all spend so much time beating yourselves up, must be exhausting, let me tell you something, I doubt the good Lord made a mistake, giving those kiddos the momma he did (her), so you just be you, He'll take care of the rest"

I mean, how much more simple can you get? Jesus loves you for being you, rest in that. There's no other you out there, not one other person on earth like you, and Jesus loves every hair on your arm, every wrinkle on your face, every freckle, eyelash, toenail, he loves you. Rest in that.
